Creative process

It was necessary to imagine a believable world for this project which relied on UNREAL ENGINE technology. The technology is full of creative possibilities despite numerous technical limitations.

We were inspired our work with Caracol's album cover to imagine a jungle harmonized between fantasy and virtuality.

Creating the map

In order to maximize the budget, we decided to focus on:

  1.  1 location only

  2. Creating different moods with times of the day: from afternoon to night to morning

  3. Vary the ambiance with artifical lights such as neons and fireflies in the atmosphere

  4. Unrealistic, chrome-plated jungle creatures to avoid the Uncanny Valley feeling
